Ages 5-9

Group piano classes are taught using the Mayron-Cole Piano Method. There are 4-5 students per group class and students use pianos and keyboards throughout the lesson. Lessons are one hour in length. The students learn to play in an ensemble setting and books and accompaniment CD's are provided for each student. This is a great way for friends to do lessons together - especially for those students that want a more socially interactive lesson setting. A typical class has the following components: lesson review, teaching of new concept, musical game, keyboard technique and new concept practice, theory worksheet time, and performance sharing. Group Keyboard classes are available on Saturday mornings from 10-11am and 11am-noon.
