MUSIC LESSONS

FORMAT
Individal piano lessons are offered in 30 or 45 minute time periods. Group piano lessons are 45 -60 minutes in length and are for groups of 4 young children (ages 3-8) per lesson. This is a great way for young beginners to start learning about piano with their friends!

REGISTRATION and TUITION RATES
There is an annual registration fee of $35 per student. Lessons begin at $21 per 30 minute lesson for individual instruction, and $15 per student for group instruction. Other lesson options can be setup on an individual basis.The year is divided into four semesters – fall, winter, spring and summer. Payments can be made by semester (5% discount) or monthly (at the beginning of each month). Priority for lesson times is given to current students. YEARLY CALENDAR
A yearly calendar listing teaching and vacation dates is posted for your convenience. My vacation dates are in pink, teaching dates are in green, and spring break is in yellow.

RECITALS
There are two formal recitals scheduled each year – one at Christmas and one in May. There are also numerous opportunities for other recitals, and small performance classes. For a calendar of upcoming recitals, please click here.

THEORY and PIANO EXAMS
Opportunities are provided for students to take theory and piano exams through Minnesota Music Teachers Association. For the current testing schedule, please click here.

CONTESTS
There are different studio contests offered throughout the year to students and also opportunities to participate in musical competitions in the St. Paul/Minneapolis area.
